8 April 2015: Tibetan nun sets herself on fire and called for the return of the Dalai Lama to Tibet
Yeshi Kandro, a Tibetan nun in her forties, set fire to herself in Kardze and died, according to Tibetan sources. Yeshi Kandro called for freedom in Tibet and the return of the Dalai Lama.
